for the last 6 weeks many of you have been voting for me to become a pro-blogger. unfortunately, i failed to make it to the 2nd and final round of the blogging contest.  nevertheless,  i an in deep gratitude because i recognize that you definitely could have been giving your time and energy to something else (perhaps helping to prepare someone to fight ninjas) besides me.

and while i wrestle with thoughts about how i failed my friends and network because i could have done more to ensure their time was not wasted on a failure,  i am reminded by two larger, interrelated thoughts.  one,  i am well loved and supported.  and two, because of that love and support, there is no excuse for me to not accomplish amazing things while i am here on this earth. and those two realities leave me ever so thankful.  and so i say…

• thanks to those who voted one time, once a day, 100x times a day, and everything in between
• thanks to those who rallied their friends through email, twitter, gchat and facebook
• thanks to those who signed up to get daily reminders from me to vote
• thanks to those who sent me content to share with those who were voting for me everyday
• thanks to those who sent me ideas via facebook, email and sms that would help me increase my position

i offer my sincere thanks to you all and leave this experience knowing that, no matter what i strive to accomplish, there are people who are there to have my  back.  and that alone is an amazing feeling.  i hope that you have a similar support system as you embark on your own journey.  if you ever need help along the way,  i hope you know that you can start here.   thanks for everything.
