my contribution to mgp’s man behind the brand series
a few weeks ago i was in dallas, tx hanging with the good folks of the marcus graham project (here is the blog post that came out of that interaction). the mission of the marcus graham project is to: identify, expose, mentor and train ethnically diverse men and women between the ages of 16 and 34 in all aspects of the media industry, including advertising, entertainment and marketing. basically, they are trying to fix what’s been horribly wrong with the communications industry for years…there is no diversity. while there, they decided to feature me in their man behind the brand series, which features new school of leaders in the marketing and advertising industry. in our brief discussion we talk about life before advertising, being young yet having a big title, and the state of multicultural marketing. check it out:
