  • My first start-up.  It’s like your first love: you never forget it.  From a purpose standpoing: we were trying to empower people to transform into the best versions of themselves.  From a business standpoint: we were creating passion-driven search.  Although the company failed, the learnings will last a lifetime.

    what it taught me?

The list is too long to rattle off here.  But some of my biggest lessons include: the importance of rapid iteration, understanding that an idea is worth nothing if you cannot execute it, a tech company is not a good tech company if it doesn’t have great tech talent, and real start-ups are marriages – you are in it for the long haul with your team and investors.

    Years.
